A little bit about me: I was born in Denver, CO but have spent most of my life in Green Bay, WI (yes, I am a super Packer fan!). I am currently a sophomore at Bryant University working on a Global Studies major as well as a minor in Spanish. This year I started working at the Academic Center for Excellence as a Writing Consultant, on campus I am also a member of BUSCO, the University's Spanish club, and in the Linked through Leadership Program. I am extremely excited to participate in this year's Alternative Spring Break program. This is the biggest service trip I have ever been a part of during my college career. Other than the fact that we get to go to Washington, D.C. (which I love) the programs we are working with are so diverse that I am especially intrigued to see what they are like. I would describe myself as a people person, so any opportunity to interact with different people and learn about their lives is something I like to take advantage of completely. Anyways I cannot wait to leave on Sunday, I know this is going to be a wonderful trip with a great group of people!
