Little Sisters of the Poor: Day 1

We just finished our first day of service at Little Sisters of the Poor, which is a facility that provides care and housing for the elderly who are unable to properly care for themselves. We started with a tour of the facility and our guide told us about all of the great services they offer. After that, we spent the remainder of our time interacting with the residents. Some ASB members played games (including a popular game of Bingo, see picture of Leilannie being the Bingo announcer below) with patients, others visited the patients individual rooms and some ever got to run the facilities Cafe, which a "diner" type feel and allows residents to grab a snack and socialize. Overall it was a great time and we are all looking forward to tomorrow's visit!
