| Weather in DC should be staying in the mid 50s to lower 60s |
The March snow storm can't get the ASB team down! We're heading out on Sunday for weather in the mid 50's to lower 60's and the sun should be out on most of the days.
It's hard to believe we leave on Sunday for a trip packed with Service Events. Our Service Days schedule (Monday-Wednesday) looks like the following:
- 8 am- RISE and SHINE!!!
- 9 am- Food and Friends. One group each day will go on deliveries, while the other two van groups will help out in the kitchen.
- 12 pm- Lunch time! Thanks to Aramark at Catholic University of America for helping cater our lunches.
- 1 pm- Little Sisters of the Poor. We will be hanging out with the residents and helping with some general house keeping.
- 3:45- St. Anthony's Catholic School. Here we will help the kids with their homework and play during the after care program. I'm sure we were never this young (right mom and dad?!?!)
- 7 pm- Dinner time! It's been a long, FUN day!
- 9 pm- Reflection and Team Builders.
Thursday, the team will be touring Washington DC. DC has a bunch of cool things for a History nerd like myself. Kyle secured us a tour of the Capitol Building! SO PUMPED!
